The costume
Quilted and padded
The body is padded polyester quilted into segments, edged in red, with red felt legs along both sides. Straps close it under the chest, and the hood has a pair of red horns.
It is a structured costume rather than a floppy one — the padding is what keeps the segments looking like segments.

No. Some listings for this costume say leather; it is padded polyester, which is what the photos show and what arrives.
Can my cat go outside in it?
Into the garden for a photo, yes. Not for a walk or a wander — it is a costume, not a harness, and the straps and legs can catch on things.
Are the photos real?
They are the maker's styled images, not photographs of this costume on a real cat. The design is the one you get — black quilted body, red legs, horned hood — but the length, padding and exact red can differ from the pictures.
Will it fit my cat?
It is made for an average adult cat, and the maker gives no measurements. For a very large or very small cat, email us first.
Will my cat actually wear it?
Some cats ignore a costume; others flatten themselves to the floor and refuse to move. Try it indoors for a minute with a treat before the day, and take it off if your cat stops moving. That is a no, not a pose.
Can my pet wear it all evening?
For photos and a short while, yes — but not unsupervised. A costume is dress-up, not clothing. Take it off if your pet pants, freezes, scratches at it or tries to reverse out of it, and never leave a pet alone in costume: straps and ties can snag.
Will it arrive before Halloween?
