Cats eat badly out of deep narrow bowls — they end up pushing food up the sides and pressing their whiskers into the walls. This is the opposite: a 16 cm dish barely 2 cm deep, sitting on a 10 cm iron stand so they are not craning down at the floor.

Questions people ask

Does the dish come with the stand?

Only if you pick one of the two Set options. The other choices are the dish on its own or the stand on its own — useful if you already have one half, or want a spare dish to swap while one is in the wash.

Will it fit a small dog?

Yes. A 16 cm dish at 10 cm high suits cats and small breeds. It is too low and too shallow for anything bigger than a terrier.

Any special care?

Ceramic is glazed and wipes clean. Hand washing keeps the glaze and any painted detail looking new longest. Check for chips now and then — a chipped rim is sharp and is the point to retire a bowl.

How accurate are the measurements?

Every piece is finished by hand, so allow a little variation in size and in the exact shade of the glaze. Ceramic is like that; it is not a fault.

Shipping & Returns

Free shipping on every order. Tracking is sent as soon as your parcel ships. Ceramic travels wrapped — tell us straight away if anything arrives chipped and we will replace it.

30-day returns. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Email support@thetinypet.com to start a return.

Sizing. Measure your pet nose to base of tail and compare with the measurements in the description. Breed names are a poor guide - two dogs of the same breed can be 4 kg apart.

Washing. Beds and blankets are machine washable unless the description says otherwise. Wash covers separately, warm not hot, and tumble dry low so the filling keeps its shape.

Introducing something new. Change food gradually over about a week, mixing an increasing share of the new food in. Put a new bed where the old one was rather than somewhere better.

Safety. Supervise play with plush and rope toys, and put wand toys away between sessions. No toy is indestructible.
