Most carriers assume one pet. If you have two, you are either making two trips or wrestling two bags to the vet. This is a double-decker on a four-wheel trolley base — each deck detaches into a carrier you can carry on its own, so it is one trip out and two separate bags once you arrive.

Room to sit up

Each deck is a proper cabin

Both decks are tall enough for a cat to sit up rather than lie flattened, and the front opens as a full door instead of a slot you have to post them through.

Mesh runs across the front, both sides and the roof, so they can see out from wherever they settle and air moves through instead of pooling.

Each compartment unclips and works as an ordinary carrier with a shoulder strap — useful when only one of them is going to the vet.

The trolley base folds down separately, which matters if you are putting the whole thing in a car boot rather than storing it assembled.

What are the exact dimensions?

The maker has not published a measured size chart for this carrier, and we would rather say that than print a number we cannot stand behind. What we can tell you is that each deck is built for a cat or a small dog to sit upright in. If you need exact centimetres before you buy, email us and we will get them from the factory before you order.

What is the difference between the single and double deck option?

Single deck is one carrier compartment on the trolley base. Double deck is two compartments stacked, for households with two pets. Both use the same base, so you can start with one.

Can I use just one deck as a normal carrier?

Yes. Each compartment unclips and carries on its own with the shoulder strap. That is the point of the design — the trolley is for the journey, the deck is for the waiting room.

Will both cats be able to see each other?

They are separate compartments with mesh between them, so they can see and smell each other without being able to reach each other. For most pairs that settles them; for pairs that fight, it keeps the trip peaceful.

30-day returns. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Email support@thetinypet.com to start a return.

Sizing. Measure your pet nose to base of tail and compare with the measurements in the description. Breed names are a poor guide - two dogs of the same breed can be 4 kg apart.

Washing. Beds and blankets are machine washable unless the description says otherwise. Wash covers separately, warm not hot, and tumble dry low so the filling keeps its shape.

Introducing something new. Change food gradually over about a week, mixing an increasing share of the new food in. Put a new bed where the old one was rather than somewhere better.

Safety. Supervise play with plush and rope toys, and put wand toys away between sessions. No toy is indestructible.
